TBH……living in the countryside things move at a slow pace so it’s nice to exist in imagination for a short while.

I’d say when it comes to writing i’m self taught, and with that comes a lot of trial and error. This is my first attempt at a book and the process it takes you through. It’s always a difficult decision on knowing when to stop fine tuning and release, because with anything there is always room for improvement. It’s great to see how this piece of work has come about and how involved the storyline is whilst being a joyful, fun Christmas tale and staying aligned to Christmas traditions.

Seafood Santa is J. A. Pitts’ debut novel, bringing together the love of storytelling and imagination to celebrate diversity, community, the essence of imagination and the unique festive spirit of Christmas. She hopes one day this piece can come to life in an animated movie for adults and children alike.
